An exclusive collaboration with Probicient, a food tech spin-off from a top local research institute, Brewerkz is proud to be the brewing partner in the development of the world’s first gut-friendly probiotics beer, from lab to table.



To commemorate this milestone, Brewerkz has launched Red Billion Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer, a stunning berry-red sour beer, packed with a fruity freshness of tart raspberries, delivering an explosive tangy punch in every sip.

Why is the technology in this beer special?

Probiotification of alcoholic beverages is a major technological challenge with ethanol, organic acids, and hops that impair the growth and survival of probiotics.

Probicient’s technical team ensured the probiotics’ survivability of 1 billion CFU, the minimum amount considered to be an effective probiotic according to ISAPP (International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics), while maintaining the traditional methods of beer brewing.

How is our Probiotics Beer healthier?

Our beer’s probiotic culture of over 1 billion live Lactobacillus paracasei per can the probiotic strain helps to regulate the body’s immune system, neutralize toxins and viruses, and enhance gut health!
