ABOUT SINGAPORE DESIGN WEEK
One of Asia’s premier design festivals, Singapore Design Week (SDW) celebrates Singapore’s distinctive brand of creativity, exploring design through three defining pillars: Design Futures (the design of the future and the future of design), Design Marketplace (lifestyle trends with a spotlight on Southeast Asia), and Design Impact (innovative solutions for a better world).
Organised by the DesignSingapore Council, SDW is a celebration of creativity and innovation, championing thought leadership and showcasing the best of design from Singapore and beyond.
The 2025 festival theme, “Nation by Design,” celebrates Singapore’s transformation into a liveable and loveable city through thoughtful planning and bold imagination. It looks back at 60 years of design shaping our everyday life — from infrastructure and housing to community and culture — and invites everyone to imagine how design will continue to create the Singapore of tomorrow.
OFFICIAL FESTIVAL BEER
ONDEH ONDEH LAGER
Following last year’s Citrus Honey Wheat, Ondeh Ondeh Lager marks the second official festival beer brewed exclusively for Singapore Design Week in partnership with Brewerkz.
Ondeh Ondeh Lager is also part of Singapore River Signatures, featured in the Singapore River Festival 2025 Design Edition.
The can design is adapted from the festival’s creative concept designed by Kinetic, featuring elements that reflect the ondeh ondeh kueh’s green-and-white identity.
Ondeh Ondeh Lager will debut at the opening ceremony of Singapore Design Week 2025 and will be available on tap and in 330ml cans at all Brewerkz outlets from 11 September 2025. Cans can also be purchased from the Brewerkz e-store.

When it comes to local pairings, it doesn’t get better than this. Our Ondeh Ondeh Lager brings silky notes of pandan and coconut that complement the peanut-sweet, smoky flavours of Spicy Chicken Satay. Crisp bubbles refresh the palate between bites, while pandan adds a gentle fragrance that lifts the whole experience.

Made from upcycled brewers’ spent grains — a by-product of Brewerkz’s beer brewing process — these healthy snacks are packed with fibre and protein, and best enjoyed with Ondeh Ondeh Lager.
For SDW 2025, Brewerkz is featuring NEWGrain+ Tortilla Chips in Salted Egg flavour, bringing a savoury local twist to the festival’s featured tasting.
